Authorities identified 77-year-old Nguyen Phooc Nguyen, from Gwinnett County, as the man who lost his life following an auto-pedestrian collision on March 1 in Duluth.
The fatal hit-and-run crash took place in Duluth. According to the investigation reports, Nguyen was struck by the SUV while he was checking his mail outside of his home. The driver of the involved vehicle left the scene after the accident.
According to the reports, Nguyen died of his injuries after the crash. Officers are looking for the driver of a white SUV who hit the man and drove away from the scene. No other details are made available.
