The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office identified 65-year-old Brenda Faye Solomon as the Shreveport woman who lost her life following a multi-vehicle accident on Monday evening.

The fatal hit-and-run crash took place at about 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of West 70th Street and Suntan Street. According to the investigation reports, Brenda Faye Solomon suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck.

On arrival, emergency crews rushed the woman, of Worth Circle to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where she later succumbed to her injuries on the same day. No other details have been released by the officials.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
