Officials identified 57-year-old Adrineh Nazarian who died in an auto-pedestrian crash (Burbank, CA)

Authorities identified 57-year-old Adrineh Nazarian, of Burbank, as the woman who lost her life after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday.

On November 9, 2021, at around 3:07 p.m., Burbank Police and Paramedics actively responded to the 200 block of East Verdugo Avenue after getting reports of an auto-pedestrian crash. On arrival, they found a pedestrian in the roadway who was unconscious and had serious injuries. The pedestrian was rushed to a local trauma center where she later died of her injuries. On the other hand, the driver of the motor vehicle stayed at the scene and was questioned by traffic investigators.

Drugs and alcohol were not involved on the part of the driver. The investigation reports showed that the incident happened when the pedestrian crossed the street. The reports further revealed that the female pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. Speed also did not play a part in the incident.

An investigation continues.
