Officials identified 49-yeta-old Katina Menefee as the woman who lost her life after getting struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Nacogdoches.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident took place in the 2800 block of Woden Road. The preliminary reports showed that Katina Menefee, of Nacogdoches, was walking northbound in the northbound lane in the 2800 block of Woden Road when a white Chevy truck that was also heading northbound hit her.
Menefee was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the vehicle remained unharmed in the accident. No other details are available.
The incident remains under investigation.
