Officials identified 43-year-old Thomas Mark Haehn who died after a car crash near Gibbs High School (Corryton, TN)

Authorities identified 43-year-old Thomas Mark Haehn, of Kodak, as the man who lost his life following a rollover accident Wednesday near Gibbs High School.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place just near the entrance road to Gibbs High School. The investigation reports showed that Haehn was heading south along Tazewell Pike when his vehicle, a 2021 Nissan Kicks, veered off the left side of the roadway, hit a boulder and flipped over in the northbound lane of traffic.

The reports also added that there were no other contributing factors in the collision – road conditions were dry, drugs or alcohol was not believed to be a factor and distracted driving was also not suspected to be a factor. Haehn was also buckled up at the time of the crash. No other details are available.

An investigation is continuing.
