Officials identified 37-year-old Brent Christopher Sorensen who died after a motorcycle crash (Lincoln County, NV)

Authorities identified 37-year-old Brent Christopher Sorensen, a resident of St. George, Utah, as the man who lost his life following a motorcycle crash that happened over the weekend in Lincoln County.

The fatal single-vehicle accident took place on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at about 8:12 PM. According to the investigation reports, a black 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle was going on State Route 375, close to Mile Marker 28 in Lincoln County, Nevada. Just then, a cow approached the roadway, hitting the rider and throwing him from his motorbike.

The man suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. He was reportedly the sole occupant of the vehicle. Authorities did not provide any details about the condition of the cow.

An investigation continues.
