Officials identified 29-year-old Javier Villasenor-Reyes who died after a crash in southeast Austin (Austin, TX)

On Friday, authorities identified 29-year-old Javier Villasenor-Reyes as the man who lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on March 9 in southeast Austin.

The fatal car crash happened at about 7:15 a.m. in the 8300 block of East Ben White Boulevard eastbound. That is near the intersection with U.S. Highway 183. The preliminary reports showed that the Jeep Cherokee driven by Villasenor-Reyes swerved off the road for undetermined reasons and flipped over.

Villasenor-Reyes suffered major injuries and was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
