Officials identified 24-year-old Abraham Joshua who died after a two-vehicle crash in San Francisco (San Francisco, CA)

Authorities identified 24-year-old Abraham Joshua, as the teacher who lost his life following a traffic collision in San Francisco.

Officials actively responded to the area of Harrison Street and 22nd Street at about 7:34 a.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle crash. According to the investigation reports, Joshua was heading eastbound riding a motorized scooter on 22nd Street when a semi-truck hit him. On arrival, responders found the man on the roadway.

He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The medical examiner identified the man as Abraham Joshua, a San Francisco resident. He was a teacher at Mission Preparatory School at 1050 York St. All the people involved in the accident stayed at the scene until officers arrived. Impairment did not seem to be involved in the crash. No other details are made available.

An investigation continues.
