Authorities identified 21-year-old Anthony King as the man who lost his life following a rollover accident on Monday morning.

Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers actively responded to the area of US-50 and US-50A on reports of a traffic accident on September 6 at about 5:15 a.m. The investigation reports indicated that a gray 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was heading westbound on US-50.

Reports further said that the driver could not slow down before entering the roundabout at US-50A following which the front of the Chevrolet hit the decorative rock wall in the center of the roundabout and vaulted over the rock wall.

The vehicle rolled and landed upside down, skidding across the roundabout travel lanes before it came to a stop on the sidewalk north of the roundabout. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 21-year-old Anthony King, a resident of Fallon, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
