Officials identified 18-year-old Chase Bodell who died after a pedestrian crash near Everson (Everson, WA)

Authorities identified 18-year-old Chase Bodell, of Abbotsford, as the teen who was killed after being hit by a vehicle on March 15th in Everson.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on State Route 9 near George Rd on Tuesday morning. According to the investigation reports, officials got reports of a person kneeling in the middle of State Route 9 at about 11:30 a.m.

A semi-truck traveling south in the area changed lanes to avoid striking the person, but the person lunged into the semi’s trailer. The victim, identified as 18-year-old Chase Bodell, was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
