On Saturday, authorities identified 17-year-old Delilah Garcia Garibay, from Perris, as the girl who lost her life following a rollover crash Friday west of Perris.
The fatal car crash took place on State Route 74 near Margarth Street at about 8:45 p.m. According to the investigation reports, a Sedan rolled over and had front-end damage as a result of the crash.
Delilah Garcia Garibay succumbed to her injuries at Inland Valley Medical Center. The events that have led up to the accident remain unclear at this time. No other details have been provided by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is continuing.
