On Wednesday morning, northbound Swan Road at Calle Barril was closed down following a motor vehicle accident in Pima County.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on Swan Road. It is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the crash. It is also unknown if the incident led to any injuries or if anyone was hospitalized.
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, there was no timetable for the road to reopen. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. Grant and Alvernon were used as alternates. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation is underway.
