A tragic three-vehicle crash occurred in the 100 block of SH-73 at 5:37 a.m. on Saturday, prompting the response of the Bridge City Police Department. The multi-vehicle accident was initiated when a black Ford F-150 was headed northbound. 

The Ford crossed the center divider into the southbound lanes, colliding with a white Ford passenger van. The impact led to a subsequent collision with a grey Dodge pickup.

The van’s driver, Nicki Dewayne Guy of Kinder, Louisiana, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified by the county authorities.  The fatal crash is under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this fatal incident.
