A tragic crash on Tuesday night in U.S. Highway 59, south of Texarkana, has resulted in the deaths of a Texarkana woman and a Tyler man. According to a preliminary report from DPS, the incident occurred around 9:53 p.m.
A 2024 Kia Telluride SUV traveling southbound crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV. The driver of the Kia, identified as Natasha Brewer, 48, from Texarkana, and the driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Jason Foster, 46, from Tyler, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing as officials work to determine the circumstances that led to this tragic loss of life on the highway.
