According to the Dallas Police Department, a motor vehicle crash was reported on Thursday night in Dallas. Officials confirmed that more than four people were injured due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at Speranza Italian Restaurant, at 18204 Preston Road.
A green SUV struck the north wall of the restaurant and injured several people. Four of the injured people were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The cause of the wreck is suspected to be the influence of alcohol. The driver of the SUV was charged and taken by the police officials.
Other details pertaining to the wreck are not currently available. The crash continues to be investigated by the DPD.
