Multiple Injuries Reported In A Multi-Vehicle Collision In Pierce County (Pierce County, WA)

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on Sunday at the intersection of Spanaway Loop Road South and 138th Street South between Parkland and Spanaway. 

Multiple people were transported to the hospital with minor to serious injuries. 

A Ford Mustang was travelling southbound at around 3:25 p.m. on Spanaway Loop Road South at a high rate of speed. The driver of the Mustang failed to stop at the red light and struck another vehicle that was turning left onto northbound Spanaway Loop Road South.

The Mustang driver did not stop there. The car continued southbound and struck four other vehicles before coming to a rest on its side, stated the witnesses. 

The occupants of the Mustang were pulled out of the car, including a dog by the witnesses on the scene. 

The identity of the suspect is awaited by the Sheriff’s Office.
