According to the Lovington School District, a school bus crash was reported in Artesia, on Thursday afternoon.
Officials confirmed that at least 3 students were injured due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the bus carrying the Lovington Girls Soccer Teams crashed with a semi.
The state police reported that 4 students, and the drivers of both the vehicles were transported to the Artesia General Hospital for treatment.
Reports suggested that all of them sustained minor injuries that were not life-threatening.
Other details regarding the reason for the crash have not yet been revealed.
The crash is still being investigated by the State Police.
