A man died in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 and Douglas Boulevard.
A Mazda spun out when it approached I-80 from the Douglas Boulevard on ramp.
The Mazda hit one car in the slow lane and continued spinning on Interstate 80. Then, a third vehicle in the faster lanes T-boned the Mazda.
Following which, a man died on the spot.
Authorities confirmed that no other drivers involved in the incident needed any medical treatment.
Afterwards, Caltrans issued a traffic alert and asked the drivers to use alternative routes.
Officials closed three lanes on westbound Interstate 80. As of now, authorities reopened the roads for traffic.
Also, an investigation is continuing.
