A multi-vehicle accident caused major injuries on I-80 and Bay Bridge.
Authorities blocked several lanes on the Bay Bridge, including three westbound lanes on Interstate 80.
Also, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed that the wreck involved a tractor-trailer and several other cars.
CHP reported that the incident led to major injuries. However, they did not provide details regarding the seriousness of injuries suffered by the victims involved in the accident.
Officials reopened all the roads for traffic just before 8:00 p.m.
An investigation is continuing.
