According to the police, a motor vehicle accident was reported in Donelson.
The officials reported that a small Nissan SUV ran the red light on Cottage Lane and struck an oncoming motorcycle heading west on Lebanon Pike.
The witnesses revealed that the man was thrown from his motorcycle.
Upon the arrival of the Metro’s Fatal Crash team at the scene, it was confirmed that the victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition.
Officials reported that the victim was following the safety protocols at the time of the accident.
Officials reported that the female driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
