The Police Department reported a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night.
The crash happened south of Elk Chattaroy Rd at around 7:30 p.m.
Two vehicles collided head-on resulting in minor injuries.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Ryan Senger, a driver struck the other vehicle head-on while driving south on Highway 2’s northbound lanes close to Elk-Chattaroy Road. One of the cars overturned and blocked the road.
The Northbound lanes are completely blocked on US highway 2. One lane reopened around 8 p.m.
One driver was taken into custody for DUI.
Further details regarding the crash are not yet provided by the officials.
