Longview Police Department officials stated that at 10.30 AM on Thursday, a vehicle swerved off the road and struck an 18-wheeler that was parked on the shoulder in the 1200 block of E Loop 281. The 18-wheeler was parked and was in the process of loading supplies when the incident occurred.
The spokesperson added that there were minor injuries that were addressed by EMS and Longview Fire Department officials.
No further details regarding the cause of the motor vehicle accident or the number of people involved have been released as yet.
