Megan Perkins injured after a two-vehicle collision near Everson (Everson, WA)

On Tuesday afternoon, Megan Perkins, of Nooksack, suffered injuries following a traffic collision near Everson.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of Everson Goshen and Pole Roads. The early reports showed that Megan Perkins was attempting to stop but slid through the intersection of Everson Goshen and Pole Roads. Her van was struck by a semi-truck that was heading westbound on Pole Road.

On arrival, emergency crews transported the woman to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center with unspecified injuries. A 6-year-old child in her vehicle and the truck driver did not receive any injuries as a result of the accident. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
