Medics airlifted cyclist to Seattle following a crash in Suquamish (Suquamish, WA)

There was a crash involving a cyclist along Suquamish Way on Wednesday night. Medics airlifted cyclist to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with “substantial injuries.”

Lasnier said the cyclist, an adult male, had collided near Wee Wun Way. At start, Lasnier said, there was news that a vehicle may have been involved in the crash. However, after an investigation, police found that the cyclist had sustained a “bad bicycle crash.” Following which, emergency crew airlifted cyclist to Harborview Medical Center.

While “significant”, the man did not cope life-threatening injuries. Above all, hospital might discharge him in one or two days’ time.

Crews initially responded to the scene at about 7:30 p.m., according to North Kitsap Fire and Rescue.
