The Oro Valley Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Oracle and Hardy Roads.
According to the officials, there were two vehicles involved in the collision. The driver of one of the vehicles was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. He has since been identified as Martin Valesquez.
Two passengers present in Martin’s vehicle were also injured. The driver of the second vehicle immediately fled the scene without waiting for the police could arrive. The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Rose Johnston. She was later arrested for the fatal crash.
