A man lost his life in a fiery accident on a Northwest Houston street on early Wednesday, authorities said.
The incident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. in the 3400 block of Saratoga Drive near TC Jester. The vehicle caught fire after smashing into a tree, but is still not confirmed if the impact of the crash or the fire resulted in the death of the driver.
Authorities were still working to identify the victim inside the vehicle and were looking for nearby surveillance video to find out the reason behind the crash.
An investigation is continuing at this time.
