A man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Thursday on the North Side.
As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place at about 7 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of NE Loop 410 near Post Oak Lane. The early reports showed that a man riding his bike when he swerved off the trail a bit and was hit by a vehicle.
The bicycle rider succumbed to his injuries. The driver remained at the scene until officers and first responders arrived. According to the authorities, nothing malicious is suspected. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
The crash remains under review.
