Man killed after a single-car crash in Orinda (Orinda, CA)

On Wednesday, a man lost his life following a single-vehicle accident in Orinda.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash was reported at 6:04 p.m. on the eastbound Highway 24, between Camino Pablo and the St. Stephens off-ramp. The early reports showed that the male driver of an SUV failed to maintain control of his car as a result of which the vehicle swerved off the highway and crashed head-on into a tree.

The man succumbed to his injuries after the collision. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other information has been provided by the authorities.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
