On Wednesday afternoon, a man suffered injuries after his vehicle slammed into a building in Camas.
As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of 401 N.E. Adams Street at around 1:40 p.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle crash. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle crashed into the Georgia-Pacific paper mill in Camas for undetermined reasons.
According to the officials, the man was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. On arrival, emergency crews transported the man to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The identity of the victim has not been revealed at this time. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
