Man injured after a rollover crash in Zeeland Township (Zeeland Township, MI)

On Sunday, a 31-year-old man, from Grand Rapids, was hospitalized following a rollover crash in Zeeland Township.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place on westbound I-196 at mile marker 59. The early reports showed that a gray Pontiac Grand Am was going westbound on Interstate 196 when it drifted off the roadway and rolled into the trees for undetermined reasons.

On arrival, emergency crews found the victim unresponsive and trapped in his car. Firefighters had to cut the car to extricate the man. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
