A man received serious injuries after getting hit by an alleged drunk driver early Saturday in San Antonio.
As per the initial information, the pedestrian accident took place at about 2:05 a.m. in the parking lot at 7503 US Highway 90 W. The early reports showed that the pedestrian was walking in the parking lot when the driver of a maroon 2016 Chevrolet Silverado ran him down.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed by EMS to University Hospital in critical condition. According to the authorities, the driver was apparently intoxicated and at fault for the incident. The driver was booked for intoxication assault. No further details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
