On early Sunday, a man suffered critical injuries following a traffic collision on the city’s North Side.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of Blanco and Basse roads at approximately 3 a.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle, driven by a woman, broadsided a pickup truck for undetermined reasons. Due to the impact, the pickup truck went through a rock wall and into the parking lot of the Allena Village Shopping Center.
On arrival, emergency personnel rushed the driver of the pickup truck to a hospital with critical injuries. At this time, it is unknown if the woman received any injuries as a result of the accident. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
