Man in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash in Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)

On Friday, a man suffered critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Bellingham.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place just before 1:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Samish Way, just south of the Elks Club. The early reports showed that the victim was riding a John Deere lawnmower when he got struck.

The identity of the man has not been revealed at this time. Officers are looking for the driver of a white Sedan who hit the man and left the scene. No additional information has been provided.

The incident remains under active review.
