On early Thursday, a man was left in a hospital after being hit by a vehicle near Baytown.
As per the initial information, the incident took place after 12 a.m. in the 8400 block of Garth Road, north of Baytown. Life Flight immediately responded to east Harris County and airlifted the injured victim to the hospital. Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies were informed that the man stepped into the roadway when he was struck by the vehicle.
The driver involved remained at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the investigating team. As of now, no charges are expected to be filed in the case. The man was listed in critical condition at last check. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
