A man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Thursday night in San Jose.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place at about 8:26 p.m. on Almaden Expressway and Foxworthy Avenue. The early reports showed that the man killed in the collision was a pedestrian, but officials said Friday morning that they found a bicycle during the investigation.

The victim was rushed to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperated with the investigators. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
