On Saturday night, a man lost his life following a multi vehicle accident in Glendale.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle wreck took place at about 8:45 p.m. close to 67th Avenue and Bell Road. The preliminary reports showed that one vehicle collided with another car trying to make a left turn, triggering the three-car pile-up.
The reports further revealed that the vehicle was heading east and struck another vehicle that was turning left near Grandview and Bell roads. The reports also stated that the impact caused the first vehicle to cross the median and hit a third car.
The driver of the first vehicle was declared deceased at the scene while his passenger was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the westbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with non-critical injures. Police believe that speed and impairment are involved in the crash.
The wreck remains under review.
