Man dead following an auto-pedestrian crash in Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

A man lost his life after getting hit by a vehicle in Tucson.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened just before 9 p.m. on North Campbell Avenue. The victim was only identified as an adult male. Shortly after 10:30 p.m., Campbell Avenue was shut down from East Grant Road south to East Elm Street.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No details are available regarding the vehicle that struck the pedestrian. Officials asked drivers to avoid the affected area. No other information is available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
