On Friday morning, a man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in Pasadena.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at the intersection of Spencer Highway and Federal Road at about 5:45 a.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian for reasons that are yet to be known. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the man to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene after the collision. Officers said that intoxication did not seem to be involved in the accident. The area was closed as crews worked at the scene. Drivers were asked to avoid the area. No other details are made available.
The incident remains under investigation.
