On Tuesday morning, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident in Lithonia, according to DeKalb County Police investigators.
As per the initial information, the fatal crash took place just before 8 a.m. on Rock Chapel Road and Stephenson Road in Lithonia involving two vehicles. The early reports showed that a gray compact car had a front end damaged and a pickup truck came to a stop in a right-hand turn lane after the wreck.
It is unknown if the collision caused any injuries. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unclear. Officials will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
