A man lost his life after a two-vehicle accident early Saturday morning in North Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area near North Pecos Road and Gowan Road after getting reports of a bicycle crash just after 2:30 a.m. The preliminary reports revealed that a pickup truck was driving recklessly while traveling south on Pecos Road. At that point of time, a man was riding his bike northbound on the sidewalk of Pecos.
According to the authorities, the pickup truck driver slammed into a light pole, hit the bicyclist, and eventually ran into a wall. The bicyclist was declared dead at the scene. No other details are immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
