Man dead after a hit-and-run crash in Detroit (Detroit, MI)

On Friday, a man lost his life after an auto-pedestrian collision in Detroit.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place before 8 a.m. in the area of Woodward Avenue and West McNichols Road. The preliminary investigation indicated that the man was jogging when a maroon Sedan hit him for undetermined reasons.

The driver of the involved vehicle drove away from the scene after the accident. The pedestrian died of his injuries after the crash. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under active review.
