Man Arrested For A Motor Vehicle Crash In Memphis (Memphis, TN)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Memphis.

The crash happened at Interstate 240 and Lamar.

Frank Darby was driving a Honda Accord with a 2-year-old passenger inside.

According to records, Darby admitted to taking a Klonopin before driving and having a drink the night before.

When given field sobriety tests at Austin Peay Station, he did not do well.

Darby did not have an insurance certificate, and the vehicle’s tag had expired in September, according to the police.

He faces charges of DUI, Endangering a Child, Financial Law Violation, Reckless Driving, Violation of Child Restraint Law, and Vehicle Registration Law Violation.
