On Friday, a man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Shreveport.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:32 p.m. on Linwood Avenue at West 70th Street. The early reports showed that the man got off a SporTran bus, walked in front of the bus and then got hit by the northbound pickup truck.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. The pickup truck failed to stop and continued north after the collision. Officers received two conflicting reports of the color of the pickup. No other details are immediately available.
The incident remains under active review.
