Luis Eduardo Gutierrez Was Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Reeves County (Reeves County, TX)

The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident in Reeves County on Friday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 32-year-old Luis Eduardo Gutierrez of Heber, California.

Around midnight the crash happened at U.S. 285 and RM 652 in Reeves Country when Gutierrez blew through a stop sign while driving a Ford F-150 and struck a tractor-trailer being driven by a 24-year-old man from San Angelo. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
