The officers have reported a motor vehicle crash that killed a man from Houston in Milam County.
A man was driving a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 190, near CR-236A, north of Milano. The vehicle struck a cow that was on the roadway, which led him to lose control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
The driver of the vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have since identified the victim as Keon White. The age of the victim is not yet known.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
