The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating a two-car crash that left 1 driver dead. The incident is reported to have taken place on Friday morning on Roosevelt Highway at Delano Road in Fulton County.
Authorities stated that Cobb County officers were in pursuit of a Dodge Durango, but the vehicle did not stop. Police then lost sight of the SUV.
Authorities say the driver was going down the wrong side of the roadway and collided with a Honda at the intersection of Roosevelt Highway and Delano Road.
The driver of the Honda, Jonathan Denham, 41, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Durango attempted to abscond but was arrested a short distance from the crash due to an injury.
