A tragic car wreck claimed the life of Burkburnett resident Isaac Desean Mirani on Wednesday afternoon.
Mirani, driving south on FM 2226, failed to stop at the intersection on State Highway 258, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The multi-vehicle accident occurred when Mirani’s vehicle struck another traveling west and attempted to turn east.
Mirani was rushed to United Regional Hospital but, regrettably, succumbed to the injuries sustained in the fatal crash.
The 59-year-old driver of the other vehicle was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with incapacitating injuries.
The investigation, spanning about 2.7 miles east of Kamay in Wichita County, commenced around 2:45 p.m.
