The Police Department reported a multi-vehicle crash in New Orleans on Sunday.
The accident happened at High-rise Interstate 10 east at around 3:09 p.m.
According to the press release, several other vehicles were also involved in the accident in which one vehicle overturned.
Injuries were reported in the crash by the officials.
The name and identity of the victim were unknown.
It is unsure how the crash happened and what caused the crash
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The crash is being investigated by the officials.
Three lanes were initially closed and traffic was diverted, but as of 4:50 p.m., those lanes had been reopened.
