The City of Killeen reported a motor vehicle accident on Friday.
The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 14, just before 11 p.m. It happened at exit 285.
According to the officials, a tractor-trailer lost control and rolled over onto its side. It spilled the goods it was carrying – debris and oil.
The officials have reported that there were minor injuries incurred in the crash.
They have not reported how many people were injured. The identities of those injured have not been disclosed.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed while crews worked overtime to prevent the oil from leaving the site of the spill.
