The Muskegon Police Department reported a head-on crash on Monday.
The accident was reported to have occurred on South Getty Street and Access Highway. The officials received reports about it at 6.42 a.m.
Several police officers and a crash investigator responded to the calls.
The officials have reported that there were injuries, although there is no confirmation of how many were injured nor the extent of the injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated by the officials.
The road will be closed while the investigation takes place.
It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
